RightNOW Women PAC endorsed candidate wins special election
RightNOW Women PAC congratulates Congresswoman-elect Karen Handel on her victory in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District outside of Atlanta. The June 20th special election was held to fill the seat vacated by Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price.
“We are excited to welcome Karen Handel to Washington as part of the growing cadre of Republican women,” says RightNOW Women PAC Board Chair Jennifer Higgins. “After supporting 100 percent of the Republican women running for Congress in 2016, we are proud to have endorsed Karen in this important 2017 race.”
RightNOW Women PAC announced their endorsement of Karen Handel in early March, before the April primary, and has continued to support her throughout the election season.
“It is a proud moment when we can see the direct impact of our fundraising efforts,” says RightNOW Women PAC Fundraising Co-Chair Aly Higgins Wheeler. “We will be continuing our commitment to building the PAC on July 12th with our second major event of the year.”
In 2016, RightNOW Women PAC endorsed its largest class of candidates since its founding.
